Blondie, I can't access my page it comes up an error and closes down every time. Just figured out how to get to the groups this evening. Every thing is good. Justen is in SD until some time late next year. He will be home for new years. Hope you and your family are well. Keeping your daughter in my prayers

Just a reminder, in case i'm not back on tomorrow.

Please, Please, Please - Don't forget Veterans' Day! Thank a Vet, a Vet's family. Don't forget the MIA/POW's and those who gave their lives! say a special prayer for those who lost a spouse/lover/friend, son/daughter, father/mother, brother/sister, uncle/aunt.....for those who's lives were ever changed by what they seen or did.......for those who can't forget......visit a vet or veteran's home/hospital or family member. put an add in the paper whatever you choose to do THANK YOU! and FLY that FLAG!

It is so cool to know and hear the stories that our kids are becoming responsible (Professional) adults. also, to know that all our time and effort which was invested over the years is being rewarded (exponentially) and our kids are truly a reflection of us, their fiends and their environment; as the AK Natives say it takes a village to raise a child.

crystal, glad he made it back, yes, traveling can be difficult. when my daughter was home for the wedding it was 27 1/2 hours. didn't do the math going back, but she went back on her day off. so she could rest up or if she was late she really wasn't late. she always goes in right away to see how far behind she is, and of course with the crashes she was anxious to get back. but he's safe that's what's important!

cora, i'm sure she'll get in touch as soon as she can, this life is a waiting game.

AK mom, your right. We haven't had a holiday for over 2 years together, that's why the wedding was sooo important. it had been 6 years since my kids were all together! we just celebrate each day that they are all healthy and happy. would i love to see them more, You bet! but this is life and each day is Christmas, every phone call, e-mail is a celebration.

When you are in the military one learns quickly the word flexablity and how to celebtrate any time of the day or month; there were many times we celebtated Christmas 2/3 days before or after the 25th since we were on duty that day/week. In other words we quickly learned it is the sprit and joy of the celebtration not the day/date on the calander. Holidays which are spent in the military will be events one will always remember and chairsh. Since it an opp to reflect as well as, a time to enjoy with all one's shipmates.

Blondie, Justen is back on the west coast in SD. He flew back Monday. Was suppose to be in at 8:30p. Got there at midnight due to FOG. The plane was almost out of fuel. They landed in Phoenix and stayed for 3 hours. The fog cleared and they werethere at 12:30 AM. He had a ruff 1st day back. But today he feels better. Thanks giving was so good. I went to work Monday and realy thought it was after thanks giving. My husband and I laughed for 30 minutes about it.

All the food is here to fix for tomorrows Thanks Giving, I am glad I am doing this. My son seems to just take everything in stride. He eats whatever is served. No complaints. So we will see what happens tomorrow. I planned to get some things mixed up ahead to night. We have a group of 8 of us going out to dinner tonight at the Texas Roadhouse. Hope we have fun. I am sure he is partying with friends after that. He has not been home later than midnight. I am really grateful he has matured.
