Hi Cindy Y ~ Since you are the third Cindy on here, I think I had better start finding nicknames. How exciting, your days of bc are over. I see your daughter has found out how the Navy works really fast. It's called: hurry, hurry, hurry...wait! I know Pcola is very hot and humid this time of year, but...yeah, the beach. She won't be hating it for long as all the Navy and college guys'll start surfn. She'll probably have the best tan of her life and love it!

Barb ~ I may make a food of myself here; but, are you on N4M's as well? Your son's name sounds familiar. If not...Welcome! Where is Goose Creek? I'm hearing more and more different station names since my son's PIR and Corpsman group are now starting to scatter. How is he liking power school since he's been in class a week now.

Hi Just Me! That's a name I can remember. However, the two acronyms you gave...I haven't a clue what they are. By the way, I haven't given you my welcome yet. Welcome!

Michele ~ I'll get to your email this afternoon or tomorrow! Glad you're back on line.

Jodster68 ~ Welcome. I doubt you'll forget Cory's station! Where is Corry Station located?

Sponge Mom ~ You'll love Navy Dad's. It's fun to get not only the mom's thoughts on their sailor, but the dad's as well. They can be very funny.

Lori ~ Welcome. My son is stationed in San Diego, too. He's on the green side though. He's a corpsman for the Marines. His permanent address has him closer to San Clemente, now. I got back from Oceanside a month ago. Absolutely loved it there. Was able to spend about 30 - 45 min on Coronado. Took a couple pics of the USS Ronald Regan while it was still in port. Was so bummed, however, cuz I only had about 20 min or less at the NEX. Didn't get to purchase all the stickers and clothes I needed. I hope your son and Cindy's Evan will bump into each other sometime.

Linda ~ Welcome. Have you sent out a forum on N4M's to see how many others there are with a sailor on the USS Oak Hill? That's an option.

Cindy (E.G.'s) ~ Morgan texted me today. He's been assigned to the 1st Marine Div. 3-1 something Kilo Group. He'll be repeling out of helicopters. What is he thinking 8-)! He's crazy. Actually, I think it would be really cool to do...just not in enemy territory! Oh! He has a block leave 6/26 - 7/6. He's flying home Saturday for a few days! I'm so excited. His gf will drive down on the 30th then they'll head back to Seattle on the 2nd.

My daughter is in P-cola on 2 months waiting time. She got there 6/3. She has made a lot of friends. She complains how hot it is there. But every weekend they all go to the beach how lucky she is. I am very proud of her to be serving our country. Have a great day.

Wow Cindy the group has grown!! How awesome. Wes is in C School now, finally lol. He said it will last about 5 to 6 months and I talked to him last night he said all he is learning so far he already knows because of working on the flight line at base. I guess that is a good thing, he is confident due to having this knowledge already :). Not much else going on, working really hard on my college studies . ..takes up most of my time now. P.S. you need to kick EG off the computer at least once a day hehehe.
