Cindy, it's nice of you to take time to welcome the new members to the group!! I have learned so much in the short time I have been a member of NavyDads. It's been a wonderful added source of support and information to go along with what I've gained at N4M's. My son, Billy is in GL finishing up his final days of A-School and has verbal orders for San Diego following a C-School if he gets one.
Thank you for making us all feel welcome!!!

Hi, I am new to this group and this site. I am currently on N4M's. Hoping to find more people on the USS Forrest Sherman or the USS Bulkeley.

Hello moms ~ Can't tell you how long it's been since I said something on this group! Love how much it's grown.

Florence ~ I was reading everyone's comments and came to yours. I bet you have been a blessing to many mom's. We always hope and pray our sailors are kept out of harms way and then I read a message like yours. Your son sacrificed his life and for that I honor him and you. What you went through, and go through on a daily basis, I can only imagine. I'm sure you have good days and bad. Please know, that on your bad days we're here to help support and listen to you. I made it thru bc talking to a couple of mom's on this site and to this day, I continue to talk to them. Tho not as often as I'd like...but life does have a tendency to get in the way. I am on N4M's every day, so I'm going to look you up there. I admit, I don't always check this site daily.

Hi Lori ~ I know what you mean about joining Navy Dad's. I thought it might help my husband, but he never got on it....I did! When Morgan was going thru BC and I had all my support from N4M's, there were times when I needed to step back and find less hormones and more sensibility! Thank goodness for this site! I've made a couple of great friends here.

To all the other moms I've never said hi to.....hello!

Hello all, just thought I'd pop in and join your group. I wanted to see if this site would help my husband as much as the N4M site had helped me. I think that I will get just as much out of it as he will. Maybe more even. Hope to talk to you all sometime in the future.
