My boy is in Pensacola!! Arrived safely yesterday afternoon :). I am excited about this next phase in his A-school, he has about 4 or 5 more months left. I told him yesterday, 'don't unpack because Ike is forecasted to come your way!' I was afraid of this happening but he loves storms so he will enjoy the excitement. By the way, TS Hanna came all the way on shore but within 20 miles of my house (the outer most part of the storm). How is that for answered prayer :), God is great! Hope everyone's sailor is doing well. . .God Bless, Michele

That is so wonderful Diane :) . Letter day was what kept me going! It is great to know they are still doing okay and are getting enough down time to write!

My son, Wes, will be leaving for Pensacola Sept. 5th to continue his A-school. He is on hold until then, he completed the computer based part today :). He is praying he can visit his girlfriend before he flies out! I pray they get to spend some time because I know how hard it is for me not seeing him. Not much else happening, been working on my project in the front yard and it is getting closer to completion! School started back for the girls today and I almost forgot how peaceful it is lol. Hope everyone is doing well . . .God Bless, Michele :)

Hey ladies, Just checking in to see how everyone is doing? We are all good. I am going to drive with Evan to calf. and then I will fly home Yeah ! I get 5 more days with him.. I am soooo happy.

I will fix the whole battle here ladies, you both come to neutral ground - NC! :) lol. Yeah I am glad Wes is keeping his 'Military Bearing' (as he says) but he tells me it is hard to live in those conditions and not want to slack off yourself sometimes, especially when you have a bad day of class or duty. Update? lol That is about the update Cindy C. . . VBS & yard work. I did however have 7 children at my house for the weekend! Four teenagers all over the age of 17 (my daughter is almost that lol) and 3 nonteenagers (12, 10 & 10, 2 of them mine). My oldest daughter wasn't too happy with the crowd, she was miserable with a house full. She came back to life though once they all went back home at 8pm last night :). The volleyball game was a blast and the Guitar Hero battles (I won most of them!) lol. 3 more days!!!!! Yahoooo I can't wait, if you go on A-school base and run into my son tell him his mom sends hugs & kisses! You might not know him since he is wearing plain clothes now :). By the way he was off 'mando' Saturday night at 6pm i think he said. . .so yes he got half of his liberty. Travel safe Cindy C. . . God Bless!

That's OK I will forgive you we can let her come to both states it might be fun to see what we all have here..ha .Hope everyone is doing good my sailor will be home in 2 days I cannot wiat to see him and spend time with him before he heads off to calf.. so far away... Michele I am gald to hear Wes is doing good as long as he keeps that positive attitude he will do great and yes I think we all gave them good values that is why they choose to serve our country God Bless all of them! We are so proud of our sailors... ttyl

Sorry Michele! I have so many different groups to keep up with, I don't think about checking this one. Is this his first liberty weekend or am I a week late? You'd think GL wouldn't have any more slackers after having gone through BC. Update me with what's been happening with you, besides VBS and yard work. Instead of going to miss., you could always head west to Idaho (dryer heat) and do some of mine. Sorry Cindy! ;-)
