Hi all,

sorry, we've been busy...daughter Finally made it stateside after 5 yrs. of over seas duty!  she is home with us for a couple more days....it was a pain gettting her out of her last command and home safely. But we did!  or weather they did, Thank You Navy!

she's got her permit (at age 23) and is in the process of buying a car, can't tell lyou hte pain this has been.  everyone alnd their brother has been living at my house or stopping in!!   she's had one morning to herself.  hubby and I are still working because after she leaves for next command we will follow 4 days later to help her find and house and move in (all within 10 days)  she's a whirlwind!@  glad to see something Never change.

Love the time we've had with her, but will need those 4 days to rest up for the next 10.  LOL

hope all is well with your sailors, they are in my prayers daily. HUGS

Hi everyone, it has been a long time since I have been to this site. I am on Navy for moms daily. My Sailor was in bootcamp two years ago. Hard to believe how fast time flies after bootcamp. I wanted to check in and see how active this site is. I hope everyone and their Recruits or Sailors are doing well.

My son got his MRI results back....complete ligament tear and crush fracture on the inside of his ankle. He's at Tinker and was asked to play football for VQ-7. He came down hard and wrong on his foot.
I'm worried about it affecting his career. He is training for the E-6B Mercury. He would be totally devastated it the injury put him out of Aircrew. Anyone know the chance of that happening?

Fishdad, that is wonderful news. So happy for all of you. I hope he has a speedy recovery for his knee surgery. Love to all.

Hi Navy Moms. Just wanted to give you the update on Heath. We had him to Bethesda on Friday and he got the all clear from the doc. He's up to 132 pounds!! So now he returns to Japan, has his knee surgery and goes through rehab for that. Then, we'll see what happens. We just want you all to know how much we've appreciated your prayers for him. We can't tell you what it has meant. Thanks so very much! He's on the mend!!!

Thank you for your good wishes and prayers, from my part I say the same.

At least, by the way he write, I "fell" he is happy even though he is working hard and studying, too, his Navy courses, etc; we as mothers know the way they are just by talking or writing.
