"A" School / FRAC ?

Hi Scott, thanks for the reply and I understand about being careful posting, I was just curious as to what's the generic difference between the two other than location, thanks again.

Hey - provided that my son gets through the rest of bc, aircrew, and rss. Where would his A-school be? His contract is for AIRR.

Hi Brent, my sons A school is going to be in Pensacola, not sure where the other ones are. How far is your son along in the process?

My son is still in boot camp. His PIR is 11/5. Just wanted to know about location of A-school cause a friend told me it might be in Millington TN (near where we live).

A-school for rescue swimmers is in Pensacola, FL. Once you pass RSS, then you could go to San Diego, Jax, or Norfolk for the specific training based on the Helo type orders you get.
