Son, Cody takes his first helo ride next week. Also told me that tomorrow morning squads at Coronado are participating in a 5K in honor pilots that went down in the Red Sea.

maybe they'll use the little rocking airplanes you used to see in front of supermarkets......those only cost a quarter a "flight"!

My son just told for financial reasons(cost savings)- they will no longer be able to jump out helicopters at the end of RS school.  So will he have an oppurtunity later in his training?

Congrats to your son CR.  He will go through much during class.  At the end they used to have a jump day, however I think the helos are no longer active there.  I can check with my son who is an instructor now.  Keep encouraging him during this time, as it will become important.  All the best!

I received good news yesterday, I got the call my son has classed up to RS School. Will he get the chance to jump out of a helicopter? Maybe some of you, who have been there can weigh-in.
