We also got a call Saturday, he sounded exhausted too. He sounded like he was doing good with everything. We are making travel plans for P.I.R.

Chris passed his last flight test yesterday and graduation this Friday... I wish I could get out there to see it all happen.... He said he wanted to take a leave (Has 50 days) but I don't know if it will happen ... Logph , Chris has climbed all though the cliffs there on Point Loma. He had sent some really nice pictures of the cliffs and caverns there . He ended up buying a new Nikon camera because the Gopro he has just can't seem to get the far away pictures . Yes Godspeed USS Nimitz and HSC-6   HOOYAAH

Spot on Wayne. Best place to see the airwing onboard. Great view of the whole area as well.

Nice picture Logph . Looks like from Point Loma and the Navy Lodge in the background .

Got the first all from RTC Saturday morning. Sounded tired from the long days, disappointed by the food (mother is too good a cook), and frustrated that the ship hasn't yet gelled into a team. Barely two weeks, so team building is coming, I'm quite sure. He is sure he's in the right place, his training ahead of time prepared him physically, and his study beforehand is making the classroom stuff okay. Greatly encourage, remaining vigilant in my prayers. Sean Brown, check in. I forgot to ask mine if he knew yours.

Wayne, I almost forgot, Facebook has an HSC-6 Command Ombudsman page where family members can stay informed of the latest news or get answers to important questions. Go to it and request to join:

Wayne, great to hear that Chris will be headed this way. I'll have Robert look out for him. Robert told me that several new swimmers would be joining the squadron after they headed out to sea.

Congrats to both Chris and Patrick on their various stages of becoming Rescue Swimmers!  Wayne, be sure to be there if you can for graduation....you will never forget it!  Sean, keep us posted on the progess of Partick.  I will let you all know when Garrett has has first class.  It looks like the current need is for Aircrew instructor since they are short staffed right now.  He will go over to RSS once some of the current instructors rotate out.  Meanwhile the Aircrew side will be what your sailors will most likely do before they go on to RSS.  As I know more, so will you all.  All the best to those sailors who are serving "So others my live"!  So proud of the all, and proud of you Dads for supporting them!  Hooyah
