Good Luck Jack .... My son Chris did the same thing Pre BUDs and BUDs....It's a lot of hard work .... He ended up DOR after a fracture in his leg in Hell week...

Speaking of Chris , he is in San Diego and got an apartment in Imperial Beach , bought a SUV and is the process of moving his Bride there... so they at this time are living the California life . Kids grow up fast WOW ...

Leaving this group I guess, but not before wishing you all well and thanking you for being a big part of my "indoc" to all things Navy. My son got his contract switched from Aircrew to SO and will be going to Pre-BUD/S after Boot Camp in Oct.

Take good care, All, and best of luck to all your sons and daughters!

C.R. what Jeff  said is true . Chris went through the same thing . I remember that he was mad a few times saying the instructor told him "That wasn't a Pull-up" , "That wasn't a Push-up".... It takes some time and yes THEY want to see improvement . Like I have said , it took Chris  6 months to get the contract.

I know when my son took the pst it was after his 3rd pst that he got a contract.  I know he had to go back 3 more times after the contract to make sure he was pushing himself to improve.  Not sure on the scoring, my understanding is the mark you son set when he passed the pst he can not go below that point.  He still was delayed 3 months after he got the contract.  Hope I helped, my son is still in basic so this is all very new to me.

well my son did not get picked up for a contract.  he will have pass his pst again be re-entered into the computer.  does anyone know how the scoring works when they are entered into the computer.

Robert will be doing his first SAR jumps in FRAC today. He hasn't jumped out of a helo since the day after passing RSS. He is excited but apprehensive. I'm praying for his success. Hopefully, he won't fall backwards out of the helo...LOL!!
