Comment by Jeff R on September 12, 2012 at 8:25am: I know the feeling. My son Jason took the test a couple of times before he passed. After he passed on one of his days to better his score the Senior Chief in charge of the rescue swimmer program was in San Diego on an inspection and he saw him swimming. The Senior Chief pulled him out of the water and they had a chat by the pool, two days later he got his contract. He has been in basic for 4 weeks now with his PIR in October. Tell you son to keep up the hard work he will make it.

Comment by C. R. Dean on September 12, 2012 at 7:45am: sorry about that my computer was acting up. My son has finally passed his PST test. He has been trying for several months and finally made yesterday. My son signed with the Navy back in late Spring and just passed the physical test yesterday. My son says he will be entered into the computer system and will need to be picked (or get a contract). He will continue to keep trying to better his PST score.
