Yikes!  My son is at MEPS today.... I think they are presenting his AIRR contract-- so fingers crossed!!!

Hi Wayne, from what I understand, the first week of SERE is mostly classroom and training, it's the second week when things get crazy, no worries, you're son will be fine.

On the lighter side, just came back from a nice visit with my son Tom down at NS Mayport, here's a few photos of the HSL 48 Vipers shop, they actually have about a 10 foot boa constrictor in their briefing room.  Her name is Skirt, they originally though it was a male so they name it Trousers but then had to correct.  It eats mice and the newest pilot is responsible for care and feeding.  New pilots also have to wear a patch with the initials FNG, I'll let you all figure out what that means ;)
