Robert's was in Maine. I spent a considerable amount of time reminding him that this would also soon pass and that he had come too far and been through too much to quit. It was tough waiting 12-14 days for him to contact me. He finally calls me and the first things he says is that he would never do it again, and that he would redo RSS anytime before going back to SERE. I just reminded him that this was now in his rear view mirror and congratulated him on going through one of the toughest training events that the Navy has. Wayne, I'm sure your son will do just fine. Bravo Zulu on getting this far.

LOL ... He hasn't seen snow in years .

Hi Wayne, if he's east coast he should be going up to Portsmouth Naval Shipyard up in Kittery, Maine.  At least there shouldn't be too much snow, I don't think.  Good luck to him.

As long as he keeps moving forward Wayne, it's a good thing, where's he doing SERE?

Well change of plans ... A-School graduation was moved up to the 9th because some top brass is retiring that day , SERE starts a week after that . Then to HSC-3 Merlins in San Diego for FRAC sometime in the beginning of Sept..

Pic uploaded of my son's Grandfather 2nd Lt. Ed Krygier flying the first fighter jet, the F80.  Just found this pic clearing out a famliy attic in upper wisconsin this summer.  Thought I would post it for history!  Grandpa is so proud of his grandson being a resuce swimmer.
