Hi Tom, try the Sunset Grille on Perdido Key, just over the big bridge, you can sit outside on the bay, best key lime pie I've ever had. Or continue west on Perdido Key and just over the Alabama border you can try Bubba's, awesome seafood and fried pickles. Good luck!

Ah yes, some things never change...
I've heard of 6 month waits for A-school.....hurry up and wait!!!
My son is saying that there is a big backlog for training and that he may not be able to get into NACCS until after Christmas. Anyone hear anything about this?
Hearing a lot more from my son. He is rooming with 3 others who have been there longer. He has to go through several inspections and has to pass a few indoc courses before he can go to phase 2. It did not go so well yesterday. He and the roommates got hit for a room inspection discrepancy. It was someone else's fault but they all paid for it. Its all part of the teamwork mentality. He is looking forward to advancing to the next part of his training. He says that boot camp PT was not sufficient for him and he got out of shape. Which means that he is still in better shape than I am. So now he and a few others are working out on their own.
