Was a great experience to make the trip to San Diego two weeks ago to attend our son, Cody's Graduation from FRAC school. We got to meet some fine young sailors and were allowed to fly the helo in the flight simulator...poorly I might add. Cody was one of three to make it through. He was part of the Seahawks. Now he is part of Raptor squadron. Three years in San Diego before deployment.

Congrats to you and your son Wayne. A major milestone in his career I'm sure. Robert finally got his wings as well. He was flying when they pinned others and then told him 30 minutes before his presentation to get ready for his pinning. He went flying immedietely afterwards. So we couldn't go down to see it happen and no pictures (yet). It's all good but bummed nevertheless. Still proud of him and all others who are in this craft.

Well, after a year doing Aircrew Water Survival instruction in Pensacola waiting for a slot to open, Garrett has finally been transferred to RSS and is now part of the instructor team for those new AW candidates looking to become Rescue Swimmers.  He has truly enjoyed teaching, and is looking forward to sharing what he has learned to the next generation.  New posted picture is his instructor photo for the wall at the schoolhouse.
