Cora, going to my first Blue Star meeting tomorrow. My daughter is also involved in Girl Scouts. Hoping we can get something out to our Sailors soon. Just message me and we can try to work out the details...

mine went through Raleigh. About three of them went through boot camp together, but then were separated because of their ratings. They do get friends that they stay in touch with even when they are deployed overseas or at sea. They will have friends if they so choose because everybody is dependent on each other. Mine has been away from home for over a year now and his friends still stay in touch.

Hey Cora ~ remember me, hehehe? How is everything going? Wes is better adjusted finally, I was worried for quite awhile. Is Brooklyn still at sea on GW? Give me a call sometime! God Bless :)

tomorrow being the big day it is, when the tarheels square off against the mighty wolf pack of NC State is like army- navy except better ( BBQ and Brunswick stew) I hope all are sailors can get to watch this classic. Anybody know if the game is going to be carried on the west coast. Talk to everybody tomorrow if the Pack wins. Lets get this site going.

Greetings from a dad in the Old North State. My son is in A school for Master At Arms in San Antonio. His first duty station will be Kings Bay. Anyone else here with experience at Kings Bay or the Jacksonville area?

Hi Cora :) . . long time no talk! I joined the group but probably will not be active...sigh. Wes is no longer in the Navy, confusing story and sketchy on the Navy's part. I am still in college and working very hard, every course I finish motivates me more to reach the finishline :) hehehe. How is Brooklyn doing? How r things with you. . . with Howie. . . the family?? Great job on thinking to start this group! Keep in touch & God Bless, Michele
