Roommate needed for Ballston Spa
My son is leaving Goose Creek Feb. 10th. and heading to Ballston Spa. He has yet to find a roommate. I've talked with Naval Support and availability is getting short and there doesn't seem to be too many one bedrooms available. I live in CT and will be about 2 1/2 hours away but I don't feel like hauling furniture up so we are looking for a furnished apartment. If anyone has a son on the same schedule that is also looking for a roommate please let me know.

The only apartment complex in Ballston Spa that I know of is Winner's Circle. Don't know about them having furnished apartments.
A furnished apartment may be hard to find even in Saratoga Springs, which has many more apartment options. It's a bit further away, but once winter is over that's not too much of an issue. Not much snow so far this winter, but heavy snow can turn a short drive into a protacted white knuckle adventure.
One option might be the Locust Grove Motel in Malta. It is close to Ballston Spa and has full kitchenettes. Tel: (518) 587-3778
single occupancy:
$225/wk. + 8% sales tax
$625/mo. no sales tax $100 deposit
It looks a bit rustic, but might be a place to stay until he lines up something else. No long term lease required. For all I know he might be perfectly happy to spend his whole time there.
