Congrats to you and your son Dave. My son has been home for two weeks since he graduated from prototype. He heads to Norfolk on the 12th. It'll be sad to see him go, but we are so proud just like you probably are of your son.

My son just finished all his schooling at Goose Creek, he said it was very challenging. My advice to him is find a great group of friends, it'll help him relax on what little time he has off, and they'll help keep him focused and at his best.

Hello to all, I am new to this whole nuclear field. My son is in his 4 day at Great Lakes and will be going to SC after wards. Is there any advice that I may pass on to my son when he gets ready for A school? I heard its pretty tough but he did very well in HS and scored very high on the ASVAB. I definitely hope this field will challenge him mentally.

Dan got home Saturday morning, it's great to have him home even for a little while. He says he's glad schools over and he's ready to get to his ship even though its dry docked for 40 months.
