Gary, congratulations all around. I hope you'll find the Ceremony at Great Lakes as exciting and stirring as I did.

My son is graduating June 26 and will be shipping out to Goose Creek on June 30. Can't wait to go to PIR to see him. Wish all of your sons and daughters the very best. Let them know my family appreciates the sacrifice they are making.

Just thought I would stop in and say "HI" to all...my son is a MM2(nuke) on the Nimitz...anyone have questions, just ask. Since he has been at this for a while now and about done with all his "quals" on the ship...he can helop with questions before they deploy.

Wendy - Dan wanted to go to Balston Spa, too but they kept putting his date to go off, and finally told him he had to stay in Goose Creek. He was bummed but glad to get going at the same time.

Hi John my son is just finishing up at Goose Creek, he should graduate I think its August 17 or so. He's had a great time down there, but he said it is hard work.

Hello all!

My son just graduated from Boot Camp this past Friday and will be shipping out to Goose Creek tomorrow, 16 Jun, for indoc and A School. He is supposed to class up on 8 Jul. His rate is MM.

Just wanted to say "Hi" and get myself acquainted with this group.

Yes -- welcome Scott, and all nuc Dads [and Moms]. Enjoy visiting Charleston, lots to see and places to eat there. Be sure to look up Charlie, hanging around outside the Rickover Building. The big NEX is good for shopping, too. My daughter and son-in-law went through together about 3 years ago. Yep -- I've got two nucs in the family. Super-proud of them both.
