Well, Dougs back at Corry now as permanent party/staff. He drove down by himself, left 0100 and arrived around 2100, he sounded like he was dead on his feet and was heading to bed. We will have to wait until probably Monday and he gets assigned to his new barracks and reports in to find out what he he will be doing (if he can say). He is supposed to make E4 once he settles into the new unit, he already has 8 mths TIG as E3 since he had has NJROTC time, cant wait to see those stripes replaced by the eagle and rocker.

Well, if you can believe the old weather guy here in Cleveland I am betting on getting more snow then I want to see, with my main snow remover kicking sand down in Corry. I hope to be trading places with her, I need some sushine. Doug grad's his CTN C school on the 11th and I was planning on driving down and bringing him back up for two weeks before he goes back starts earning his keep.

Hi all, Just a little note, Mindy is leaving her tropical paradise for a couple of weeks to come home in February. She was missing the snow I wonder if we will have another foot of it when she gets into good old northeast Ohio.

Already had snow on the car last week here in Cleveland, getting to old for winter too start so soon............LOL. Traded emails on/off all day, trying to figure out if we can swing the trip down for Thanksgiving, he is off the whole weekend and his little sisters havent seen him since July. He should have the 2 weeks at Xmas to come home also. "C" school should last until from about Dec. 10 until near the end of Feb., glad the Navy knows what they are doing, to and outsider it seems like they just store people until they have enough for a class, rather then schedule the classes first.
Well, time to get ready to go play security guard for the weekend ..........have my books and laptop packed so I can wave at the critters as they go by (both 2 and 4 legged).

Hey David, Tell Doug congrats on "A" school, and good luck with the snow shoveling idea (LOL). Spoke with Kyle today (his birthday) first time away from home on that. he says he has already seen snow in Ct. He has two weeks before he Graduates from Sub school, then he will wait until he can class up for his "A" school, then its 44 more weeks until he is done with it, after that he dont know, probably out to sea for a few months.

Got email this morning from Doug at Corry Station............."A' school grad. on Nov 7............moving across the street (as he puts it) for "C' school, which isnt going to start until sometime in DEC. He says he has his orders and will be at "NIOC Pensacola" for about the next 3 years...........have to find a way to get him back up to Ohio for snow shoveling duties................lol.

RIGHT, KYLE WAS GETTING BORED AFTER ONLY TWO WEEKS. I THINK IT WOULD BE BETTER IF THEY WERE ALLOWED LIBERTY FOR A WEEK OR SO AFTER GRADUATION.
