That's quite a crew! Everybody gets trained and practiced. With the way the BA's put on a show they need capable crews!

Chuck,
The air show season is over. It's time now for all of the new "hirees" to start getting trained, including pilots, crew chiefs, maintenance personnel and office personnel, etc. Right after New Years, they head to El Centro, CA, for 2 1/2 months for more vigorous training before the 2011 air show season begins. There are 5 new crew chiefs, including my son, and 3 or 4 new pilots. The BAs have around 125 team members total.

Newbies????? Who know what kind of orientation. If they are packing for an airshow??? they just might be busy???

Thanks, Chuck! I just wish we would hear something from him. We have had no contact since Tuesday. They must have the newbies squirreled away, like in Boot Camp or something!

I appreciate the drive and excellence displayed by your son! He is doing what what I have advised my son to do. Excellence speaks for it self and attracts the attention of your superiors.
Congratulations to your son for all his hard work and dedication to his rating.

Chuck,
That's what it takes! And, a very good application packet and interview. It is something to work towards, that's for sure!

I was guessing that the Blue Angels would require a a lot of any sailor.
We visited My son in Pensacola in 2009.
My son had the blue Angels as one assignment that he might want. He has a deployment to work through next. I keep encouraging him to excel and help where ever he can.

Chuck ~ He likes the condo they're renting but he hasn't had much time to see the area. He was there for A School several years ago so he is familiar with it. As for the Blues, it's long hours and a lot to learn! We haven't heard from him for several days so I don't have any updates.

How does your son like Pensacola?

Welcome, Randy! Where in PA are you?
Yep, we sure are proud of our sailors!
May God bless all of our military personnel!
