My daughter arrived in Pcola this past Saturday morning.  Barracks assignments are jumbled till the senior class members graduate this Tuesday

Just heard from our son. They are back in P'cola. Where he went, there were 1500 sailors in a huge hangar. They were not allowed to plug in their phone chargers. That's why he could not call all week.

Just talked to my daughter who is in Georgia. 1 more night, and they head back tomorrow morning. Yesterday on liberty she went to Subway. After waiting in line for 45 minutes, they ran out of bread. But she was able to get a salad. Today was better, she got to eat at a restaurant on liberty. And went to the grocery store. She is looking forward to getting back to Pensacola for sure.

Our daughter is at att school, they evacuated on Monday night and hope to return soon.

It's my understanding that not all the "A schoolers" where evacuated. A base across the street from my sons base wasn't. My wife has kept in contact with another Navy mom whose son PIRed with mine, but he is still in Pensacola.

M Shepard.....my son is AWV3 with VQ-3 Ironman squadron out at Tinker AFB in OK.

My son loved Pensacola, every minute of it. He even enjoyed SERE up north, lol.

This is my second time in this group.  My son was in Pensacola in 2008.  He is now an AE2 with a at Whidbey Island NAS.

Great news, Chuck! My daughter has been at Pensacola for @ 1 month now, at "ATT school" (at least I think that's what she called it). She absolutely loves it down there!
