Thanks cora, I may be worrying for nothing. I've been checking flights around the time I expect they'll get leave for Christmas. I notice quite a few out of p'cola say 1 or 2 seats available. I'm not sure if thats juast a marketing ploy or for real. I can't do anything until the holiday schedule comes out anyway.

Thanks all, I guess I'll just have to wait and see how things shake out. She doesn't have any transportation so it looks like she'll have to fly out of P'cola.

They can fly in/out of Mobile, AL it's west of P'Cola about and hour away and the flights out of there will also fill up quickly

My sailor just arrived at Pensacola. I was wondering if there is a nearby airport besides Pensacola regional. I'm making plans for her leave over the holidays but it looks like the flights are filling up pretty quick out of P'cola.

Kyle Graduates today, sure wish we could be there but with unexpected family obligations and all the other travel we've had to do this year it is just not able to be. Good luck Son and God Bless you, we are so proud of you.

There are no uniform hours...........it depends on the classes, the phase they're in, whether they're at NAS or Corry, what mood the instructors was in on Friday, how the sailor is doing in his classes. When my son was in A school unless he had duty he was free until Monday morning some weekends, but if someone screwed up he had to be back in his room by what ever time was set by his PO.

What are the weekend liberty hours for A school in P'cola? Do they have to report back in at a certain time?
