HIE is a brand new place, maybe a year old. It's right on Navy Blvd. about 4 miles north of NAS Pensacola

Thanks all, We went with Holiday Inn express, it was little more $$ than Navy lodge . Navy lodge would not take a reservation from me, our son had to call. Since I have priority club membership HIE was a good deal. I went with Enterprise too. I am p/u the car at the Airport, which you cant do with Guardian.

I second Navy Lodge, but if not possible there's a new Holiday Inn Express just a few miles North of NAS Pen. If your Son is at Corry then it's just a mile or so north. Enterprise has an office on base (NAS P) near the NEX but your son may have to sign for car.. call enterprise rent a car to be sure. To be on safe side make sure your Son signs you up on the quarterdeck of the barracks he's in, the barracks are in a restricted area (NATTC).

Navy Lodge is pretty good, just across the street from the Air Museum. Your sailor can sign you in if you don't meet the eligibility requirements. Can't help you with the car rental. If you are looking real budget, Red Roof Inn is nice but all the way across town, then again it is near the mall, where all the sailors want to go.

We are going to Pcola to visit our son July 30- Aug 1. Mainly looking for Hotel/lodging car rental choices. Fligjts from Philly are what they are.
