I am happy about that. It seems to be very hot everywhere.

Waiting to School up is a fine exercise in hurry up and wait. My son waitied for about 2 months. He is an AT. He did duty and pre rec classes before beginning ATI. He PIRed in November and is going to graduate in early July.

My son who PIR'd on March 20 is finally classing up, he's an AM. Hopefully it will be quicker for your sailors, but if you have to wait I guess Pensacola aint a bad place to be.

Well, my son is in P-cola. He was a Grad-n-Go and got onto the base around 0040 Sat morning. He called Sat evening to say he was settling in. He also said it would be a month before he classed-up, as I suspected. Anyone else got sailors in AS?

Mike, my son is an IT. The Toturga is a dock landing ship. There are no aircraft on the ship, but there is a place for aircraft as large as the CH-46 Sea Knight to land on.
