"Pensacola A School" 

Naval Air Station Pensacola or  NAS Pensacola: is the seat of Naval Aviation and the initial primary training base for all Navy, Marine and Coast Guard Aviators.
 NAS  Pensacola is also the home base for the United States Navy Flight Demonstration Squadron, the World Famous, Precision-Flying Team, "Blue Angels".

Comment by Phil on June 15, 2009 at 11:47pm: Waiting to School up is a fine exercise in hurry up and wait. My son waitied for about 2 months. He is an AT. He did duty and pre rec classes before beginning ATI. He PIRed in November and is going to graduate in early July.

Comment by Otto Mueller on June 7, 2009 at 8:34pm: Well, my son is in P-cola. He was a Grad-n-Go and got onto the base around 0040 Sat morning. He called Sat evening to say he was settling in. He also said it would be a month before he classed-up, as I suspected. Anyone else got sailors in AS?

Comment by Lee on May 21, 2009 at 8:12pm: Mike, my son is an IT. The Toturga is a dock landing ship. There are no aircraft on the ship, but there is a place for aircraft as large as the CH-46 Sea Knight to land on.

I looked up the Tortuga and It's very similar to the Essex my son is a ABH-Aircraft Handler whats yours?
