Thx Francine, She called us lastnight and said she was at Corry Station, after a little research It looks like that's where the communications and crypto's go, she will be a CTR so I guess she's in the right place. I looked at the website you mentioned, very helpful, thank you for that.........Rick

My daughter graduated last Fri. the 5th. She flew down to Pcola early this morning. Haven't heard anything from her yet. After reading how many get there and have to wait on A school, it'll be interesting to see how her story goes. It seemed like her recruiter had her delayed enlisted and going to bootcamp in Oct. so her BC graduation would coinside with the start of her A school. Anyone know what kind of living accomadations they have for their time in school there?............Rick

LOL Carl . . . my son has been there since Sept 5th but started his classes pretty quick (finished on Halloween) but since he finished he has been on cleaning duty too a few hours a day. He got his orders just 2 days before Thanksgiving and he will b going to Oceana (base name I am guessing) in Virginia on Dec. 15th. How long after he gets there that he will start his C-school classes is a mystery. He has lucked out so far and starting within a week. . .altho I think he likes cleaning because he said it keeps him from having to muster up every hour lol. I to hope everyone had a great turkey day!! God Bless, Michele :)

Well my don Zac was told he will finally start "A" school Dec 17th. He has been there since sometime in Sept. That must be one clean base because while people are waiting for months they get to "clean".

I know when I was at the Sam's Club the other weekend in Greenville NC there were some guys taking donations for USO. Its probably a real good time to contribute as we have a lot of guys around and about these days. Hope everyone had a good turkey day and stay in touch.

Hi all...I keep forgetting to look at all my groups when I'm on...Meagan on hold until early spring due to numbers at Pen. She told me last night that her understanding of "clean" has a totally new meaning as they do quarters everyday! All is good though...her finance has finished at Corry and will be there for a bit then off to C school somewhere...they're trying for quick ceremony over holidays.
