I think it clearly demonstrates how far out of touch the bunch in DC are from the rest of the country and from the ideals that our founding fathers had when they wrote that document. I agree...there may very well be another revolution......it starts in the voting booth next year....if they presently hold office...kick them out!!!!!

I guess this answers at least one of my questions, I was hoping and praying if the health bill does pass , That it will be tied up in the courts, i dont have a lot of faith in the supreme court any more.
This also shows that this administration and most of the congress has thrown out our constitution. enjoy what little state wrights you have left.
We need to take our country back one way or another ! 1776 may be coming again, but this time its going to get real UGLY.
God bless our troops !

I've heard some constitutional law experts sate that it is unconstitutional to force someone to purchase health care if passed....the current adminstration seems to want to tear up that document....I however vow to never drink the Kool-aid!!

Well, maybe I was a bit too strong on "hater", but I can tell you the "Obama is a Muslim" thing you can read on this wall is what provoked the thought. Word to the wise -- he isn't, and you won't convince anyone rational to see things your way as long as that patent falsehood is being put forward.

I will also agree with GP & Paul, although places where the two sides will talk civilly on the net are all too rare -- which goes for both Daily Kos & Free Republic in my mind.

GP you are exactly right. Nowhere else but the US would this kind of politcal discussion be tolerated with the willingness to listen to differing viewpoints and idealogies. I thank our founding fathers for giving us the foundations and principals to voice our options in such a manner.

Enjoyed reading the comments posted so far. It just continues to re-enforce what our sons and daughters are currently serving for: the right for us to openly discuss our views and opinions without fear of retribution. May God bless them all and keep them from harm's way.

I need to add to i am NOT a Obama hater , its just disappointment in all of the promises that he made before the election. i for one wanted real hope and change , but not this kind .Most of us who voted for Obama had no idea that there would be this much of a take over of the government into our life's. I feel there are a lot of others that feel like i do. The numbers are climbing every day.
If its socialism you want then Mike you should be happy.
Most of us have forgotten the famous words that JFK spoke,{ Let not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for our country. } if we would all live by them this would make our great country a heck of a lot better for all of us.

As far as Sarah Palin in my opinion what she brings is a breath of fresh air.
This woman stands for what a lot of people agree with, God and Country,
This women is not perfect she is a human just like the rest of us. what is funny is a lot of the hard lefty liberals are afraid of her, and what she stands for, along with the ability to unite some of the conservative republican voters and there base.
Next years election in November will be fun to watch, there are a lot of pissed off people on both sides.
