I'm curious why everyone seems to think she is on the ballet for president....seems no one has nominated her yet, seems like she has not said she is running, and yet whatever news outlet you seem to tune to they are talking about her run for the office in '12....curious.

And to clairify...I'm not an Obama hater...but it's been a long time since I've seen anyone less in touch with the people or the office. If this is as good as we can do in selecting our leaders (note that I made that plural becuase I think there are about 500 on capital hill that fall into the same category), then we're in a heap of trouble!!

Since I see a good number of Obama haters here, could one of you explain why Sarah Palin? There are people out there who are just as conservative who seem a lot more competent to be President. Specifically, Mike Huckabee actually completed a few terms as governor and did a decent job. He also project's Reagan's optimism more than Palin's pettiness.

Virginia's governor-elect also seems competent, we'll see how he does.

I saw this on the net as "the GOP flag". For those of us who think of Ike as the epitome of conservatism, it rings all too true.

I know exactly what you are saying Pat....but it's the lack of openess about these things that is the worry...I was always taught some things from very early on...you make a mistake admit it, take responsiblity for your actions, and don't cover stuff up! Why did I learn that stuff and so many (not limited to the Dali-obama here) not learn it? Where was the parenting and leadership???

Obama should be impeached for this. Not just impeached but also named co-conspirator.
Almost too difficult to believe, but his name is right there in the document!
Nidal Hasan, was Homeland Security advisor on Obama transition team

(He was a participant and is listed on Page 29 of the Report [Page 32 of the overall PDF document])

Now we have a little insight into why Obama said to not jump to conclusions about Nidal Hasan.

This man who killed and wounded the people at Fort Hood, Texas was an advisor to Obama's Homeland Security team.

@pat -- a screwup of epic proportions covering at least the current and immediate past administration...the usual reason things get classified in our government!
