Navydads Political Talk Rules and Guidelines

1. Whether Republican or Democrat we are all on the same team - The Navy's
2. Name calling or threats to any member because of their political stance will not be tolerated
3. Respect each others political views and debate them in a civil manner
4. Only a healthy debate will be allowed on this site
5. With the rules in place please feel free to join in on the debate

John and Luis have set a wonderful example of how we should debate things in a civil manner. I just want to be up front with everyone who participates in this discussion that I will not let this get out of hand. I want to warn everyone that this site is here to benefit us with our children's journey through the Navy not to slam each others political beliefs.

That being said I do understand that the next commander in chief will be relevant to us Navy parents. I encourage healthy debates when it comes to politics. It's what makes this country so great. We can have our own beliefs and we get to vote for whom we want in office. All I ask is for everyone to debate in a healthy manner not in a negative manner. Express your views and let others express theirs. I do not want this to be a negative response to this candidate or a negative response to that candidate. We all know that political talks can quickly become shouting matches and this is not the site for it.

Whichever candidate wins this election will be the one that we need to stand behind and support because this person will be our children's commander in chief. In the military it doesn't come down to whether you are a Republican or Democrat. In a time of war it comes down to protect your brothers in arms no matter what branch of military they are in or what their political, religious beliefs are. Navy, Marines, Airforce, Army and Coast Guard when it comes down to it will fight side by side to defend this great country's freedoms no matter where they come from.

Sincerely, Navydads Creator

34 US Warships are en route to protect the Leader of the Freeloader World . Good thing Michelle is not going on vacation to Mumbai, She'd need an aircraft carrier just to carry her entourage and shopping bags, This I copied from military.com I don't think the great white fleet wasn't this big. 200 million tax dollars.

No disrespect took Greg. But it sound like we on the same page. I also beleave in freedom of press, radio, and tv news reporters, if you don't like it don't read it or turn it off. but America unlike other countries we have a right to tell our view points without having it government approve!

While I was in Moscow, Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher of Great Britton, visited Mr. Gorbochov with 38 persons in her entourage, Brian Mulroney of Canada had 18 persons. Our Presidents Bush and Clinton had 1200 and 1700 persons in tow. All on the tax payers dime. I think all our politicians in the US should use there own funds to travel at home and abroad. I think they may cut back on the expenses if they have to pay for it themselves.

35 ships would be a tenth of the fleet ! No one in their right mind would think that would ever happen!!! Well....maybe some of the Albert Einbergs that are in the media would......

What's scary is that some pissant Indian newspaper reports a carrier and 30+ other ships are coming to India with President Obama and Michelle Bachmann, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Glenn Beck all pick this up and report it as fact without checking. I realize this story is "too good to check", but minimal due diligence (like finding out whether military pay was actually cut rather than repeating a lie) would be nice. It's truly scary you can make stuff up, like Greg's former association with Ahmedinejad. You all did know about this, didn't you!?

talk about how scary it is out there in todays political era, Alvin Greene of SC got more than 352,000 votes. It looks more like the Hatfields vs Macoys than looking out for the good of the nation. Both sides have forgotten what the original disagreement was and now just hate without a cause. Lets get back to putting America first.
