No blood no foul Jim. I love Mike. He is fun for sure. I hope there is no hard feelings. We are all Americans here and we love the fact we can express our views to each other. Keep up the banter Mike. I like being called a moron. Better than dip $*it or Dumb A$$ like they called my son in Boot camp. When the Chief asked him a real question and called him by his name he didn't know if it was a trick or not.

What sort were you talking about? The sort that hires Illeagals and piss and moan? The real greedy ones in this country are not companies. It is the polititians who take money by force and spends it however they want, with no regaurd. The Government produces nothing, at the same time hinders the free market with over regulation and over taxation. It is not against the law "yet" to earn a profit in this country.
All corporation are not evil, because they seek to earn a Profit! Redistribution of wealth is evil. Taking from the earners to support the lazy is not beneficial to free people.

Although I will confess to maybe stupidly over-assuming, too. I pretty much expect all corporations to cheat the consumer and the taxpayer at this point, I'm pleasantly surprised your garbage company is on the up and up.

Although, when you think about it, the contractors I work with at NASA/NOAA aren't exactly the KBR electrocute the troops type either, so maybe I shouldn't over-generalize.

Maybe your Lawyer/Doctor friends cut corners and hire Illeagals, but us working class folk obey the laws. I wont apoogize for obeying the law either.

Why would la migra have to go after my garbagemen? The guy that picked up our trash was from Utah and is a Mormon not a moron. He does not even speak spanish and he gets paid pretty good. If competitive companies offer a fair price for a good service they will get more customers and then they can afford to pay thir employees a fair wage. Not all companies are greedy. Not all low paying jobs are held by illeagals. In fact any job that pays anything would be a welcome sight in our state right now. The idea that companies have to hire people from "Mexico" to offer their product and services at a lower cost to consumers is insulting to every one. Who is the moron Mike . lets vote on it.

Exactly WHERE did you get an assumption that all garbage men are illegals from what I wrote? My line of reasoning

a) private companies want to cut costs
b) one way to cut costs is to cut corners
c) one way to cut corners is to hire illegals at lower cost.

What, private companies will never cut corners to get an advantage?

And I won't apologize for my more well to do friends who've worked their asses off to become doctors and lawyers, either. My Arizona family has that sort in it, and also has people who barely scrape by. I sincerely don't understand the people who want to oversimplify the complexities of real life.

But I challenge mr. greg delany to find a statement from me that all garbage men are illegals. This is his invention, not mine.

He has played the race card, I sincerely hope he withdraws it. Otherwise I will be forced to play the moron card.
