Dear Dave,
May the Lord give you and your family strength during this difficult time. I will be praying for Nick and hope that he will begin to heal. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Dave, When our son started Navydads, we could not have been prouder of him. But, when I signed on one day and saw he had added the prayer request room, I could not have been prouder of my son. A place for us to go and pray for each others child. This group was much needed. I know everyone on this site is praying for Nick. Even though we have never met, we all feel so connected to each other. I send a prayer out to you and all family and friends. Stay strong, keep the faith, and may God be with you all.

Dave we will be praying for Nick and your family. Thru God's strength and the power of our prayers, I pray Nick has a full and complete recovery.

We pray for strength and His intervention during this trying time for you and your family Dave. We cannot hope to understand why things happen as they do, but we ask that Nick be delivered and that his recovery is swift and complete.

New to the site. Just like to ask that you all would keep my son Russ, a Cpl in the USMC and his company in your prayers. Just arrived in Afghanistan for a 7 month tour. This will be his third tour, two in Iraq. Its hard on my wife and I, but with our faith we get through. But I know the power of prayer is very real and strong. So keep up the prayers you prayer warriors. And God bless your love ones who are serving. I pray each day for our military personal and there families. They need Gods protection. Amen

Please say a prayer for the families who lost someone in last week's helicopter crash in southernCalifornia. I read about this crash in my local paper, and it saddened me. Also for the families and friends of these brave
men and women who gave their lives. May God bless them and heal their broken hearts. Amen

It's Memorial Day. Take a moment to pray and remember all those that served. Then have a good time because we have the freedom to do so.

I mean't to say get acquainted with your emotions in the prior comment. I know sometimes my wife and i had trouble looking at each other while our son was in boot camp without getting emotional.

The bible says the Lord doesn't always give us what we want, but he always gives us what we need. His schedule may not coincide with ours, but he also tells us he will never leave us. That gave me great comfort when our son was at basic. May you get acquainted in a positive way that you might not have experienced before or in a long time. I too pray that the Lord look after our sailors wherever they may be now and forever. Amen

We will not only be praying for our new Seamen Recruits but for their families as well. Recruit Training Command has the best instructors in the military. They will take good care of your sons.
