Update on my Sailors.  Our daughter has asked to be dismissed from duty.  She was placed on inactive after 8 years, so she could be married.  She has started college classes and has 2 more classes, which she started this week to get her degree.  She has been working as a reserve as support for Naples Italy and was suppose to fly over this summer for active duty.  She has done some Amazing things and been where few people have even been (only 2% of our military)  She doesn't see this deployment as fitting into her life now, and is not going to help her military career.  They are trying to start a family.  Joe is still teaching and has 1 more year left on this contract, he'd like to stay around the VA area but knows he could get deployed again, but he really wants to be here for the whole 9 months and delivery.  they have decided that the best solution would be for her to get out and that way depending where he goes she could follow.  Her degree is in medical because every base has a medical facility......They are just waiting on her command to respond to her letter, which she had talked over with her CO and handler. so it wasn't a surprise.

Sorry if this is confusing but I guess I'm just trying to talk myself thru it.  Not a complete shock but we thought she'd go reserve if anything.  And to give up Italy!  But she has always wanted children of her own and she feels time ticking.  Also there are problems with conceiving in the family so.....

Please Pray that God's will be done.

Thank you and God Bless.

Father, Hear the Prayers of this group,   Give  Bill's son Wisdom and strength to get through his schooling and prepare them both for his first duty station.  Father we Thank Thee for watching over Paul's son during his surgery.  Thank you for the surgeons and nurses may his recovery be quick and full.   Help these 2 young men to meet their full potential and always stay close to you.  Bless their families and give their parents Peace in knowing you care for them.  As always I ask for your Protection for all our Military and their families.  through Christ Your Son, Amen.

With prayers on behalf of both families........Congratulations to Bill and your  family on your son's achievement.

I hope your son's recovery is proceeding nicely and it addressed how he was feeling.
