I am praying for others, for Olivia, and for Daniel below.  Please pray with me for my son, Sam, who left today for Boot Camp.  I am praying specifically for at least two other Christians to come along side so they can encourage each other in the Lord and in the service.

My Granddaughter, Olivia is in Boot Camp. Pray for her (and us) as

she starts her Navy Career. I know she is in God's hands. Thanks for your prayers.

Thank you all for your prayers.  Our son will be moving on from Nuke Power School to a different rating after some academic difficulties in Power School.   He's pretty disappointed but based on how he seemed at Christmas, it will probably be better for him to be out of the pressure some.  Don't know what his re-rate will be yet.  Pray for his encouragement and I know that God still has something great in store for the rest of his navy career.

Marcy, I am in Northeastern Pa. On the NY State border. Small world isn't it?

Thank you crystal again. Now the wonderful people who plan their flights has totally screwed it up. He was stuck in LA all night had to go to a hotel. He was to leave lastnight about 8 pm and now he won't leave until that time tonight, which will be 11 my time for I am in PA. I just worry about him on his own and his safety. You hear to many stories. Well I am sure God has him in his right now and will keep him safe. It's just me being a mom as we all are and worry.

Marcy, Take a deep breath slow blow it out. It is ok. Your son has had the best training. He is ready for his duty assignment. You and all mothers including me have to put our faith in God and the Navy. It is hard. Your son will contact you and soon. I hope he has an email address for you a the near future. Now remember to take some time for yourself and have Faith. Best of luck and prayers for you and both sons.

Thank you crystal. I have been in tears all day since he left. I told him to call no matter what time it is in Australia.

Marcy, Nothing is ever minor. Prayers for both of your sons.

Crystal, sending prayers for them.
I know this is minor compared to what everyone else is going thru but my son has been home for a month and he is leaving for Australia tomorrow. Just asking of some prayers for safe travels.
Please pray for my other son. We found out right before thanksgiving he has type 1 diabetes. He is doing great now. It's under control now but still needs some prayers. He goes to the docs this Wednesday. So I am hoping for good results.

My son was on the Reagan get ready to come home on leave when the whole incident took place. When he did leave the ship he traveled across Japan. He was told by a Sr. Enlist person to have me keep all the communications safe from the Ships CO. It was quick proof he was there and he should make sure he watches his health for the rest of his life. I pray every night that he has no health problems. I see in the news there are already more than 70 men and women with problems. Prayers for all the sailors and marines from the Reagan.
