Prayers going up.

my pet-peeve, Memorial Day is NOT a long weekend for the start of Spring.  It's to Remember those who gave it All, in Service to our GREAT Nation.

thank you - too all those Remember

Dan - I think my daughter is looking forward to being there.  This is her first command so she's a bit nervous about the process of getting there.  We looked at some pictures of the island and it's beautiful.  She loves the beach so she just might learn to like it there.  Thanks for the prayers.

Jon, our son really enjoyed Souda Bay when they ported the attack sub there.  He has been back in Groton for a few months.  I join you in prayer for our military and remembering those who have given all.

Daniel ~ praying for those in Power School in Charleston and for the family of sailor who took his own life.  It's a reminder to me of the need for continued prayer for our military and the stresses that come along with it during active duty and for those who are returning from deployments.

I'm also remembering the thousands of men and women who have given their life for our country on this Memorial Day Weekend.  While so many enjoy their cookouts and parties, let us never forget to take time to remember those who died for you; Jesus Christ for our salvation, and our soldiers for our freedom.

On a personal note, please pray for my daughter as she travels to her new duty station at Souda Bay, Greece.

Please pray for the sailors in Power School in Charleston as they apparently had a suicide there this last weekend.  Also pray for the family of the sailor who passed and all of us who have loved ones in A School, Power School or Nuclear Prototype there.

1 Tim. 2:1-2 Join me in prayer for our sons' and daughters' leaders in govt. When these people in D.C. humble themselves and realize it is the U.S. serviceman that keeps us free, and not politicians, not only will we be more at peace but, our military will be blessed as well.

Charles and Cindy ~ We prayed my daughter through boot camp and we were amazed at how much she grew over that 8 weeks.  She's in Master at Arms school now and growing even more.  Our prayer for her was that she would find favor with her CCs and that she would find a Christian sister to have with her through it.  He was faithful to answer our prayers and more. I'll add your son to our prayer list.

Bill, I remember how hard that was.  My prayers are with you and your family.  When you go to Great Lakes for graduation, you will be overwhelmed with pride.  Thank you for your sacrifice and for you son's service.
