I'm teaching through the Gospel of Luke on Sunday mornings and this morning we were finishing up Chapter 19 "My house shall be a house a prayer..."  Spent the morning talking about prayer in the church and finished with a wonderful time of prayer and each of these prayer requests was lifted up.  God's timing is awesome!

Sometimes, prayer is all we have, the only thing we can do for each other.  Will continue to pray for all SR's as they need our support.  Prayers for Heath continue as well as Jim's son and Jon's daughter.  Will lift Joshua Hall up for healing of both body and mind.

Thanks for the update on your daughter Jon. It's good to know that our prayers were answered the way we'd hoped. We'll say a prayer for SR Kelley as well.

We spoke with our son in Bethesda tonight and he asked that we pray for Joshua Hall. Our son spent several hours with his father tonight. Joshua stepped on an IED two weeks before he was due to come home from Afghanistan and lost his left leg. Both he and his father could use our prayer support.

God bless. Hope you all have a good Sunday.

Jon, that is awesome! It just goes to show you what an unbeatable combination there is in prayer and a believer working hard to maximize her God given abilities. She is more than on her way to being a successful sailor!! Continued prayers coming her way and for every recruit striving to serve this country!

Jon, I am so proud of your daughter's hard work to improve her time by so much.  It shows a great deal of drive and determination.  Her success will boost her confidence as she enters a very competitive career field.  Congratulations to you and your family for this accomplishment.

Just got a letter from my daughter and she had a praise report.  She was able to drop her run time by 2 minutes and she's got it under the line.  Praise the Lord!  She wanted me to thank everyone that has been praying so... "Thank you!"  She also asked us to pray for a young man, SR Kelley, who was rushed to the hospital and is in intensive care.  I don't know any more than that but our Lord knows so please keep him in you prayers.

Jim - our church is continuing to pray for your son and look forward to hearing about his exit from the hospital.
