Hi Ed... Yea,i found out what is going on as far as with Eddie.James says that since he is in an amphib. unit he will be onboard a ship, otherwise they wouldn't call it an amphib. unit. I stopped to think about it a sec and wanted to smack myself in the head for not thinking about it.

James and one of his cousins went out shooting this afternoon,i think they took the 12 gauges. This evening he is going to come with me and my dad to the Friday night poker game.Should be fun! We'll see if he learned any real skills in the navy.J/K
Time to go for now.Enjoy the party and i'll chat with you later.

Hi Ed.... Eddie may be right.Does he have anything to do with underwater welding?James isn't here right now,or i would ask him..I still may! In all of the things i have read up on about the Sea Bees i had never read anything about them being stationed on a ship, but i guess there is a first time for everything.

As far as no fishing this week-end,the guy we were gonna fish with told me that his wife committed them to a b-day party and a graduation party..And he has been knocking em dead down on the Columbia!Oh well...

Catch ya later..

Hi Ed...Bummer that you will not get to take time off from work to spend time with Eddie!Yes,i talked to James last night and asked him why Eddie wasn't going back to Mississippi for ECS and he said that Little Creek was one of those bases that have ECS classes right on base.Must be nice! I don't think James really wants to go back to Gulf Port and deal with all of the humidity. He said he will have a 26 day wait for class to start, then 5 weeks of classes and training.

Guess our fishing trip is off for this Saturday so i guess we will just grab a couple of jugs, the rifles,a couple of bunnies and go coyote hunting.I think James would rather do that anyway!

Boy there sure is a change in my boy.He was up,ran 5 miles, showered and was watching T.V. when i got up to go to work this morning. All of that from a kid i had to practically drag out of bed in the A.M{:-)
Well time to go for now.You take care and enjoy your sons time as best you can.Tell him i said hi and i'll talk to you later!

Hi Ed...Yes,James pulled the wool over everyones eyes except my oldest daughter and son-in-law because they were in on the plot. They surprised me at work today, then proceeded to go around and did the same thing to everyone else in the family.

As far as Eddie going to an amphibious base,i already checked out Little Creek,Virginia yesterday online.Does Eddie know anything about if or when he will be going to ECS?

As far as Virginia being close to where we live, not even close.About 2800 miles as a matter of fact.We live on the west coast in Washington state.that is why James was hoping for Bremerton or Whidbey Island or Fort Lewis.

well the kid just rolled in on his scooter, guess I'll bow out for now and visit with him before dinner.
You take care Ed and i'll make sure to stay in touch!!!

Steve !!!!!!!!!!
