Hi Ed,James called again last night.I wasn't home as i was at the ballpark picking up Stevie from practice.
As far as pcola,i asked James if Eddie was going and he said no.I guess he has duty that week-end.James is not in to taking pics. Our family just leave it up to my oldest daughter. She is a camera nut.She even has her own photography business. When we went to PIR we took 2 of her cameras and had enough memory to take about 1800 pics, but we only got about300{:-)
I am no longer a pt nut.I was up until about 45 then i just kinda got out of it.I still walk when time allows, then when we get close to elk season i concentrate a little more n it.James on the other hand stays pretty active. He enjoys the excercise, but his true love is pumping iron.He tends to put about as much effort into that as he does welding!
Well time to go for now.Catch ya a bit later!

Hi Sailor07.I don't have to worry just now because my son has not left yet. When he does i won't worry then either although his mom will more than make up for it i am sure. I have faith in the training he is going to receive in ECS.Nothing like learning from a combat vet!I also have faith in my sons knowledge and ability as i think you should too.A little prayer never hurt anyone though. The reason your son or our son can't say much is all ops are probably a pretty closely guarded secret.Don't know if any of this helps, but it doesn't hurt for a person to get their feelings about this kind of situations out in the open.
Take care and we will all say a prayer for your son and next time you talk to him tell him we are all rooting for him.

Hi Ed,you and me both, but James seems to be wanting to go.Go figure!

If you will send me your home address by e-mail to ksbaker@compprime.com i'll try to get them there as quickly as possible. Also let me know how many you can use in the mail.

Called James to day, talked for just a couple of minutes.Wanted to see if Saturday the 27th was open.Thought we might go sturgeon fishing. He seems to be pretty upbeat here lately.Sure makes life around here a little easier not worrying about him.Any word lately from Ed?James said a bunch of them were headed to pcola for the last week-end of "A" school this week-end.Sounds like fun!Well time to go for now .I'll be in touch!

Hi Ed, yes James wants to stay on the west coast.Preferably around here somewhere like Whidbey Island,Bremerton,or Ft. Lewis. If there are no openings at any of those duty stations then he would try for Port Hueneme.
Last i heard, even if he gets the west coast he will still be coming home. The only way he would not is if,and this is a big if,he ends up in a NCMB that is about ready to deploy to Afganistan(sp) in mid to late summer. Then he would have to skip leave,go straight to ECS,then overseas till about New Years.Don't know how the family will handle that, his siblings that is.
Well time to go for now...Talk to you later, and yes we should stay in touch.
Steve !!!!!!!
P.S Could you use some Navydads business cards to pass around down there in your area to help spread the word about Navydads? If so e-mail at ksbaker@compprime.com and i will send you as many as you want.

Hey Steve....I think that what it is. Eddie wants to go to the west coast!!! So that is why he is saying he might not be able to come home....

Man i hope not..but if thats what happens, that's what is going to make him happy........Just gonna cost me more money!!!!LOL Mama will want to take a vacation so she can see her boy.....It all good!!!!!!!

Thanks for the info.....

Does James want to stay in Gulf Port????? Or where does he want ot go??

Eddie California, is his wish!!!!!!

Ok Steve, talk to you later!!!! We need to make sure we keep in touch!!!!

ED

Hi Ed... Yes we are definately gonna have a good time.spend a few days at the beach ,a couple of days riding the bikes, probably down the Oregon coast and maybe a couple of evenings out hunting coyotes.
Well jumping out of a plane isn't for everyone, but what a rush.... hehehe.... As far as sailors being shipped out before ECS,maybe they are the those that wanted the east coast will go to their duty stations first then go to ECS at a later date because they will need that training later on down the road. That may spread people out in the classes also.Your guess is about as good as mine though.James never mentioned it.
As far as where we live,we live in Washington STATE.80 miles south of Seattle,80 miles north of Portland,80 miles west of the Cascade range, and 80 miles east of the Pacific.lol... A little town called Galvin, population 75.
I knew you lived in Texas, just not sure where. Now i know!Well gotta go get the Stevie from ball practice. You have a good one and i'll talk at ya later.

Steve, glad to hear you guy's are gonna have fun with your boy when he comes home.....

No Eddie did not mention anything about sky diving....knowing my son he probably passed on that!!!!!!LOL

Eddie had mentioned that some kid's were being shipped out after graduating, i for one don't see that, as they still have combat training to go through.........

Steve i never did ask where are you guy's from????

We are here in the great state of Texas, via Dallas......

Well have fun with yor son, and you guy's take care......
