Hello All, Welcome to the newcomers! I haven't been here in a while, I got to spend some time with my Seabee, as he was home on leave. My son was at Ft. Leonard , Missouri a few years ago for equipment operations. It is a very big base. I got to go to my son's graduation there, it was very small, but very peronal. Which made it a very special ceremony. Congrats, to those of you, that have sons soon to be going through PIR. Once you get though battlestations, life is so much easier. My first son was grad and go, so we did not get to much time to spend with him at Great Lakes. The video they do of PIR is something great to have to remember the big event. But I have found they appreciated the book, the most. My second son choose not to PIR , as he was set back a week due to circumstances at home, and did not want to PIR with another group of guys.
