Yea Nuke's get to do the school thing alot longer. I dont know what the time frame is any more for phasing up is down there. After A-scool odds are you seabee will stay there and in Gulfport and be combat trained. Then statoned from there.

Hi Denise, TY. I thought he was going to be in Gulfport for 12 weeks at least for A school. He's not sure where he'll end up after that, staying in Gulfport or moving to Port Hueneme. Just trying to figure out if we can get his car to him at some point.  Yeah, my other son's a nuke, he just got up to NY yesterday, was down in GC for a little over a year for A & power school & hold.

He will have to phase in Gulfport. Is he even going to be down there long enough to have his car. Goose Creek must be a nuke. School alot longer for them then a Seabee.

Well, we're getting close now, my oldest is getting ready to leave, to MEPS on Wed then up to RTC. He's supposed to be headed down to Gulfport for A school. Can anyone tell me how long before they can get some of their personal belongings down there, he eventually want's to have his car down there. When my other son was at Goose Creek last year,  he couldn't have his car til phase two, between weeks 4 & 8.

As I am waiting anxiously for my son's deployment to come to an end soon, my heart goes out to those who are sending their sons and daughters to their respective deployments. I am proud of ALL of them and may they all return safely home to their families again. I thank them all for their service to our country.

Welcome aboard Master Chief. Good to have someone that's "been there" available. Good luck to Liz. I'm former ET and my son is in Afghan with the 'Bees.
