I just saw on one of the other post that only three guest will be allowed for the 9/11 PIR.

Hi Everyone,

First of all, I have to say I am very thankful for this site.  It really gives me some comfort to read about what's going on at the RTC and know that I am not the only Dad who worries about his son.  

I got the first letter from him today.  Short and to the point.  He did not like P-days, but after reading other posts on this site, I don't think anyone finds those exciting. Said his RDC's were tough but said that it was going well, and they are learning a lot.  He likes wearing his NWU's and boots all day.  Indicated that he was getting along with the other recruits in his division.  Overall a  very positive letter.  We also got our first call yesterday morning.  Very brief.  My wife could only talk to him for a few minutes, but she could tell from his voice that he was doing well.  

If there are any other parents out there from this ship and division, Please feel free to share any reports.
