My son told us the same thing as Cheri mentioned: 'Don't send anything expensive to his on Base box' for the same reasons. He has a PO Box off base that he uses to receive important mail.

It is my understanding that the mail sent to the boat's FPO will follow the boat until it eventually catches up. I think when it catches up to them is a matter of luck and timing.

Question-If I send a package to my son's boats APO address will it reach the boat at it's next port of call? They are deployed for the next several months. Thanks!

Robert, My son's an MM nuclear. There are 2 Joshua's on the Tn, He's the red headed one. He's been on the Tn since last October.
