Nothing wrong with having a girlfriend. My son is doing fine and highly motivated. They talk frequently and she seems to be a big part of what drives him to succeed.
But I have to believe that for a young man from So Cal he has had enough SNOW already!
Mitch - great, that's all he needs is encouragement for even more tattoos. Though he and I did discuss some neat ways to do the "dolphins" as a tat once he earns them. Then he started in on all of the stars for total nauts cruised undersea.
Oh well, as long as he is happy, healthy, and sticking with his career it is all fine by me.
KHK - well guess the girlfriend got an earful this weekend as our soon is doing much better than she was telling his mother. Got it all sorted out. His overall scores are more than fine and he is putting in the extra study time to try to move it up a few notches.
She speaks with him almost every day. I try to ping him a text every couple of days just so he knows we're alive. Then we have at least one 15-30 minute call on the weekends.
Enjoy BESS. If you can would you grab a photo of my son fur us?
Thanks.
Jack
We won't be making the trip for BESS. My son is a bit nervous as his quiz scores haven't been the best. He is now doing night study to get back on track.
Once he graduates I know the first thing he plans to do on Saturday is get a tattoo!
I'm sure Groton is snowed in! But the good thing for them to look forward to is that you don't have to deal with the weather while underwater!!!
