My daughter Kat walked off the Lincoln last Thursday for the last time after completing her 5-year enlistment......

Comment by Kayde's Dad on April 5, 2010 at 6:36pm: Delivered our AA to the USS Abraham Lincoln on Saturday. We were really excited to find out that we could go on board. We met her Chief and others as well. Got a tour of the ship including the flight deck.
Wish I would have taken more pictures.
Today I found the USS Abraham Lincoln facebook site. Saw some really neat videos from the ship.

I won't know how to behave with just one sailor in the Navy after all these years!!!

I believe you're correct, she later said she is now qualified to be on the flight deck by herself. It sounds like that means she has passed her safety tests and won't do something dangerous. she also just called me tonite to say that all is well and she'll be home on leave at the end of May :D I can't wait to see her.
