Hi all. My son (also a Tyler) is a CITY on board CVN70. Is anyone else having issues sending and receiving emails? This is our first "rodeo" so I'm not sure if this is a normal thing or not. Thanks !!

Thanks for sharing that story Byron! I have to admit that I'm surprised at the response you got (surprised in a good way). I think that's great that the folks around you actually care and applauded.
Good stuff!!

...Looking forward to it as well, Byron! Private message me when you get a chance and tell me a little about yourself and your Grandson. I'm going to head over and check out your photo albums....Thanks!

She is impressive....to say the least! The Swift was sleek and fast....could outrun any trouble.....the CV looks like she will take it in the teeth and then have at it! What a ship! I look forward to their adventures. I got to visit the USS Kennedy for a ceremony once here in Boston....but I understand that it was a much smaller ship in comparison....

It's a long cruise guys--- use each other for news and support.  And remember there might be a Tiger Cruise when they head back!!!!!

We watched as the ship departed today. Our son volunteered to man the rail and we we're fortunate enough that he was almost directly in front of us this morning. What an emotional experience for us. This is his first deployment.
May God bless all our sailors!
