Was not offended Stephen. Just don't want to see everyone at each other's throats before we embark! We ALL have done so well on this Back to Back deployment! It has been hard on all of us and especially them. Let's all maintain our composure and bring these special people home in a special way!

It was really unnecessary. I'm talking to my sailor now and he thinks this is just ridiculous... It's on the news everyday now here, we already knew the date, it is what it is now! We know for future deploys what not to say now. Oh well, it's done now

Thank you Bill and Im sorry if I offended anyone or came off the wrong way to anyway

Folks! Please let's not let our anxious feelings for this tremendous occasion sour the moment. It was posted on Facebook by Capt. Hitchcock, and I am positive he knows about OPSEC. So although no OPSEC rules were actually violated, let's be in and continue to practice OPSEC on this site as the creators wish. There were no violations, no need to defend either position. Regardless of what the Navy does, we should always practice OPSEC even if it doesn't seem to make sense. We are all getting very excited about getting our loved ones home. Let's be thankful for their safety thus far. As for me, I am excited to see my son, experience the TC, and meet all of you that in one form or another made a huge sacrifice as well.

Let's keep our perspective!

You are correct no dates until Security Clearance but once that goes through its fair game and okay to post. It just seemed like an unnecessary conversation once the Date was released.

Jeff Im not attacking anyone all Im saying is I was told a while back about the OPSEC and now even though its on facebook John posted pretty much the same thing and no one confronted him, so I did

I'm a little confused your attacking the posts on the date the ship is coming in when its already been released by the Military. Sorry didn't know your security clearance is higher than theirs. Lol
