Laurie, Thanks for the information on the Zip code.  Im wondering its a FPO thing.  The Post office never said anything to my wife last week when she shipped some things to my APO using just the 5 digits.  But I will tell her to start adding the last 4.   Where does the IKE do the tiger cruise from?

Glad you knew the answer to that Laurie, I wasn't sure if the zip was the same for everyone.

John, the zip is 09532-2830. Have to use the last 4 digits is the new thing they want everyone to know about!

I went to an FRG (Family Readiness Group) Meeting last nite. This time around they are trying to plan a tiger cruise, It's all still in the works and they said that your sailor will know before the spouses. Children below age 12 are not allowed and neither are adults over 74, It will all be in the paperwork. Spouses are not allowed to take part in IKES tiger cruises but other family memebers are, I think for obvious reasons. Also since the swim call went over so well on last deployment they are trying to plan another one but are not sure when. I hope they get to do the swim call because my husband didn't get to join in on the fun because he was standing watch last time. I hope all your sailors are doing well out there. Another bit of information is that the post office will not accept an FPO or AE with only a five digit zip code, It MUST have the last four digits after or else the post office will see it as un-deliverable and return it to sender. I hope all your sailors are doing well, this deployment to me, seems to be going a little faster than the last.

Hi Laurie
I E-mail Andrew all the time to let him know how much it means to the families everytime he get a picture of their lived ones. He called me yesterday from the Satillite phone on the ship. He told me the ship is in good spirits and the Weather is hot very hot. Thank You for you text. If you see Andrew Schneider that's my boy. My older son did 4 years as an Air Traffic Controller and he know is one for the FAA. It makes me feel good that you guys enjoy the work Andrew and his fellow MC's are doing along with each and every sailor and Officer assigned to the Eisenhower. Take care and thanks again for the post. Jeff

Jeff, I'm sure I speak for many when I say we so appreciate seeing those pictures! I did actually see my sailor in a group shot :) ! But even if not, it's helpful to see what goes on and the great shots of flight ops! Carry on ! :)

My Son Andrew is an MC on the Ship. He takes a lot of pictures of your loved ones and either, they are posted on the Facebook Website or Navy.mil. I hope some of you were able to see your loved ones.

The North Arabian Sea is still a combat zone for the Navy that is why the word change.  I am hoping to see my son on his next shore leave whereever that will be
