And send some of that rain this way!!! We need it....haven't seen a raindrop in months!
probably not Stephen....once the wheels are in motion it's pretty tough to change anything with very short notice.
Ok on my iphone I was looking at the weather channel app and it says its suppose to rain all day when they return will this push back them coming home a day? Just curious
just a note- in the Southwest we are facing some days of very high temps (112-114 degree range) - if this heat moves east you will have to some endure some warm temps and high humidity.....be prepared and plan to take it easy and watch your sun/heat exposure.....
All I want is for my fiance to be home and nothing to happen to her or to any other sailor or the ship
Im agree so can we all just drop this then?
so can we agree that a number of us, MYSELF INCLUDED, handled this poorly and agree that the primary concern if getting the ship back to home waters safely and that you will finally be able to see your sailors and spend some quality time with them.....we've beat this poor horse enough and it;s time to move on
So please just stop John
The rule about OPSEC. And if you noticed what Captain Hitchcock posted afterwards this is what he said
Dear IKE Family and Friends,
The page has been buzzing with activity since we posted homecoming information earlier today. It’s tough not to be excited when we are so close to home. We continue to stress to the crew, however, that deployment is not quite over yet. We need to get pier side at home port with all lines doubled and the brows safely over without having a mishap or injury. Returning to our loved ones healthy and without damage to our ship, aircraft or equipment is now our mission. We are doubling our efforts to stay focused and I just ask that you help us by stressing the same important point with your Sailor.
Regarding our return, we still a few loose ends to tie up like deciding who gets the first kiss of homecoming. The Family Readiness Group will be releasing information shortly about one last information session the day before we pull in. Stay tuned for that.
We appreciate your continued support and we have some terrific events planned for Tiger Cruise. We hope you are as excited as we are.
Thank you and GREATER EACH DAY, IKE!
Captain Marcus Hitchcock
John who said in the first place that I was going to notify anyone all Im saying is respect the rules thats all and Im sure everybody here will agree with me
