I misspoke earlier about driving on base ,you cant drive on base during regular time,but during homecoming I don't know call the ombudsman.Sorry about the mix-up.

You can't go on base,you can't buy from the N.E.X. without your sailor,your sailor has to buy anything you want from N.E.X. The theater is not on base,you can go into the N.E.X. and look,you can go in and watch a movie without your sailor.

Thanks. Yes. The bus will be at the theatres. How do we get passes to the base for the other vehicle that will come down later

Last year all we needed wereI.D.'s.See ya in norfolk.Did they tell ya where to meet the bus?Last year they ere at the movie theater by the N.E.X.,we left our cars parked there also.

Do we need any special documentation (other than IDs) to get on the bus in Norfolk and then to board the ship?

our son e-mailed us and told us he has paid for ticket on bus and T.C.,great that sure mahes things alot easier to get to MAYPORT.We are staying at the NAVY LODGE in NORFOLK,hope to see all or many of you proud TIGERS there.We went last year and man was it exciting and informational.Those of you that are going for the first time you are in for the time and adventure of a lifetime dont forget your camera,extra batteries and walking shoes,cant wait.By the way our daughter gave birth to our first grandchild FRI. night a boy GAVIN JAMES COOPER all are doing well thank GOD.

Thanks Paul, I've checked it out and WOW. Way to cool. And just to add to bragging about my sailor son, during the visit of NCAA Coaches Tour to the IKE my son was interveiwed by his home state collage coaches and they are posting his picture during a football game on the big screen and when he comes home he will have a personal tour of the football complex. I'm so happy for him. Thanks again.

want to psyched-up some more....be sure to look at the blogs and videos in the Tiger Cruise group....there are also hints and tips about packing, what to take, etc..

Thanks Lowell for the info, got an e-mail from the Tiger Cruise Coordinator for date and time. Now my wife and I are really excited and look forward to this event.
