hey Lowell...Norfolk to Mayport would be about a thousand miles...assume you mean Jacksonville to Mayport

hey dads,how many of you are going on T.C.Have any of you heard that they are trying to get buses to take us from NORFOLK to MAYPORT, last year was great buses dropped us off right at the dock, so no walking,it was HOT so be prepared .

I just talked to one of the ombudsman,she told me to have our sailors put our names on a list that is on boat so they know how many people need a ride to Mayport so be sure and do that,our sailors have to do that we can't.Phone number 7573233288 is no good

I talked to the ombudsman today,she said that so far it's our problem on getting to Mayport,last year they had 3 buses that took us.They may still get something together,I hope so last year went very smooth.When my wife gets home I'll post ombudsman phone number,if enough people call her maybe they will expedit buses.

I received an email from my son on the IKE with a list od do's and don'ts along with what to bring and where to stay if you are going straight to where we will get picked up. I was told that there may be transportation from Norfolk but I have not heard an update on that. If anyone has please let me know.

Hi Ken, I got an e-mail from my son and he didn't know if the Tiger Cruise is still on. He says that they will put off until last minute. Thanks for the update Ken and I will post when I hear of anything.

To all, got an e-mail from my son and all is well, ship's crew has been very busy. As far as the Tiger Cruise there has been no word yet. Hopefully we will hear of news soon.
