My son is attached to the GW with VFA 195.  He enjoyed Japan for the brief time he was there, and Australia in that brief trip.  Next stop, San Diego - any idea when they will be pulling into port?

Kenneth, my niece is on the GW she is an IT there, and she has been there alittle more than a year, she just loves Japan.

My son serves aboard the GW and is currently home on 15 days of leave he has been on board for a year now and love the service I was told that the Ronald Reagan was the ship doing the Hull swap

George... It takes a special mind set to serve abord a carrier, sounds like your son will fit right in.

You are probably aware that the GW will be returning "home" early next year for refueling.. It's possible your son will be transfered to the USS George H W Bush (CVN77) sometime after the GW docks on the west coast... CVN77 will be replacing the GW in the 7th Fleet.
