  The navy posted the sailors name today. My heart and prayers go out to the family of the sailor.

Thank you, we received e mails from our son on that date and looks like it was after so..like so many others waiting for word he is okay. And praying for all of them.

No, my son is an elevator operator on the GW, have not heard about someone falling, where did you read this??

  anyone hear anthing more about the sailor that fell from the wash. and died??? I read about it but they hav'nt released the name of the sailor yet. I must say that I am a little nervous right now.

Glad to know I am not the only one scouring through the GW Facebook pictures looking for a pic of my sailor.  2.5 years to date I have only seen two of my sailor.  One was frocking ceremony, the other was doing firefighting drills with a head sock and gear so it was really hard to pick him out.  I think he likes to keep a low profile and avoids the camera.
